GET TO KNOW HUNTER BREESE

My name is Hunter Breese, and I am a 19-year-old and proud fourth-generation contractor. I first became involved with the school board in 2022 during my senior year of high school as president of the Paso Robles High School Conservative Club. Along with a group of fellow students, I organized a protest on campus advocating for the removal of mandatory masks. Our efforts were ultimately successful, leading to mask choice for all students in the district. Since then, I have been attending board meetings every chance I get in order to stay up to speed on the various issues that our district faces. I firmly believe that our kids are our future, and am committed to ensuring that they have all the right tools for success. With a younger sibling as well as nieces and nephews in the school system, I am well connected to the happenings in classrooms across all ages.

In the time that I have been involved with the district, I have participated on the District Advisory Committee as well as the Citizens Oversight Committee. During my time on the DAC, I gained firsthand insight into the areas where the district could improve. Working side by side with fellow community members, we realized that while we may not agree on everything, we can agree on the most important thing of them all: our children and their education. I have also worked on multiple school board campaigns and worked closely with other school board members. While some may be concerned about my age and lack of extensive experience, I encourage you as a voter and member of the community to look past that and instead look at my ideas and platform to improve the district. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have about me and/or my campaign and platform.
